Where should I park in Sausalito?

Street parking is generally easy on Caledonia Street on weekday mornings, and the Sausalito public lot is a two-block walk from the studio. We're at 50 Caledonia Street.

Do you validate parking?

We don't validate, but weekday-morning street parking near the studio is usually straightforward. If you're coming in for a longer color service, arrive a few minutes early to find a spot.

What are your hours? Are you open on weekends?

We're open Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Weekends are reserved for weddings and special events by appointment.

Do you take walk-ins?

We prefer appointments so we can give every guest the time they need, but if you text us the same morning we sometimes have openings.

Are your products low-tox, vegan, or cruelty-free?

We work with low-ammonia and plant-based color lines and prioritize gentler, low-tox formulas throughout the studio. Ask us about specific products at your consultation.

Is your hair color safe during pregnancy?

We offer low-ammonia and plant-based color lines that many of our pregnant clients feel comfortable with. We recommend consulting your OB and coming in for a consultation to discuss options — balayage in particular is popular during pregnancy because it doesn't touch the scalp.

How much does balayage cost in Sausalito?

What's the difference between balayage and highlights?

Accepted Answer

Highlights are painted with foils to create defined ribbons of color. Balayage is hand-painted freehand, without foils, for softer, sun-kissed dimension that grows out without a harsh regrowth line.

Do you travel for weddings?

Yes. On-location bridal styling is included at no extra charge within Sausalito, Mill Valley, Tiburon, Belvedere, and San Francisco. Napa, Sonoma, and coastal venues are quoted individually.
