At Stellar Style, we treat bridal hair and makeup as a collaboration. Your look isn't lifted from Pinterest — it's designed with you across a consultation and a trial, then executed on the day with the calm precision that comes from having done this hundreds of times.

Weddings are where our creative process is most celebrated. In honoring the unique beauty of each bride to be, there is a co-creation of next-level elegance that is as timeless as it is current. Whether your vibe is dreamy or dramatic, our goal is to strike a balance between what's authentic to you and what feels current — a sophisticated edge that is distinct without being loud.

We respect the intention behind every sacred union. Our process begins with a conversation about what you want the day to feel like, not just what it should look like. From there, we build the theme, the timing, and the plan.

Bridal Services We Offer

Bridal Hair & Makeup Trial

Your trial is where the day starts. In a 2-hour session at the salon, we test the full hair-and-makeup look you're planning for the wedding. You bring reference photos, we bring the palette and the tools, and by the end you know exactly what your morning-of look will be. Includes a photo-check under natural light, tweaks, and a written run-of-show for the wedding day.

Wedding Day Bridal Styling

Your morning-of styling. Includes hair, makeup, false-lash application (if wanted), and lipstick touch-up kit to take with you. Approximately 2-2.5 hours. Can be booked in the salon or on-location at your venue, hotel, or getting-ready suite.

Bridal Party Hair & Makeup

Bridesmaids, mother of the bride, mother of the groom, flower parents, close friends who are being photographed with you. We staff appropriately based on party size and timing — typically one stylist per 3-4 party members, so nobody is waiting three hours to be styled.

Groom & Groomsmen Grooming

Haircuts, beard shaping, styling. Often booked in the days leading up to the wedding rather than day-of.

Flower Girl & Junior Bridesmaid Styling

Age-appropriate, comfortable styles that survive a full day of being seven.

Ready when you are

On-Location Service — We Come to You

For most weddings we travel. On-location styling is included at no extra charge within Sausalito, Mill Valley, Tiburon, Belvedere, and San Francisco. Beyond that (Napa, Sonoma, Point Reyes, Half Moon Bay, San Mateo), we quote travel individually.

We arrive with a fully stocked kit: hot tools, extensions in your color if requested, touch-up kits for the reception, and a portable lighting setup so the styling matches what your photographer will capture. We set up in whatever space you have — hotel suite, private home, Airbnb, the bride's parents' living room. All we need is an outlet, natural light if possible, and enough room for a chair.

Wedding Party Package Guidance

Rough sizing to help you plan:

  • Just the bride: book 2-2.5 hours the morning of.
  • Bride + 2-3 bridesmaids: book 3-4 hours, one stylist.
  • Bride + 4-6 bridesmaids + mothers: book 4-5 hours, two stylists.
  • Bride + 6+ party members: three stylists, 4-5 hour window. We build a schedule so everyone is finished 30 minutes before photos start.

Our Process, Step by Step

  1. 1. Consultation call

    20 minutes, free. We learn your date, venue, party size, and vibe. We share what we do and what it costs. If we're a fit, we book your trial.

  2. 2. Trial

    4-6 weeks before the wedding. We test the look, take photos, adjust. You leave with a confirmed plan.

  3. 3. Confirmation

    2 weeks before, we send a written run-of-show, staff list, and arrival window.

  4. 4. The morning of

    We arrive on time, set up quickly, and the day flows. We build in tiny buffer windows so a late bridesmaid doesn't cascade.

  5. 5. Touch-up kit

    We send you off with the lipstick, powder, and pins you'll want at the reception.

Every wedding is quoted individually based on date, location, party size, and complexity. To start, we book a 20-minute consultation call. No cost, no obligation.

Weddings book 6-12 months in advance for spring and fall dates. If your wedding is under 90 days out, reach out — we sometimes have holds that free up close to the date.
